Are you an experienced tax professional with a strong focus on VAT, compliance and advisory?
In this essential role as the Lead VAT, you will be responsible for ensuring RX's compliance with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's VAT regulations. This includes preparing and reconciling VAT return papers, verifying transactions, and maintaining adequate records.
You will also support tax audits and stay updated on relevant VAT laws and regulations to ensure compliant tax process.
Your key responsibilities will include leading the preparation of VAT return working papers, managing the reconciliation of VAT accounts, and overseeing the verification of treatment for transactions. Ensuring that all filings, payments, and refund claims comply with statutory deadlines and regulatory requirements is a critical requirement of this position.
Furthermore, you will provide VAT guidance to internal stakeholders, assist in the preparation of impact assessments for new business activities, and the compiling of supporting documents for tax audits. Your role will also involve implementing and maintaining e-invoicing systems in line with tax regulations.

Degree qualified, you demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in VAT advisory, compliance, tax accounting, or indirect taxation.
Your qualifications should include a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field, along with a VAT Accreditation from an authorised tax institution.
We are looking for candidates with a strong understanding of VAT laws and reporting requirements within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Familiarity with GCC and EU VAT laws, as well as knowledge of e-invoicing requirements, is preferred. Experience handling tax audits and responding to queries from tax authorities is a plus.
