The Training Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery of training programs within Flight Operations. This includes the coordination of initial and recurrent training, proficiency checks, and the development and management of training documentation and qualifications. The role also involves the efficient scheduling and allocation of training devices. By effectively managing resources, fostering continuous improvement, and engaging with stakeholders, this position directly contributes to the safety, quality, and overall success of Riyadh Air’s training initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
Lead the monthly scheduling and coordination of training activities within Flight Operations, including the development of training syllabi and course templates to optimize the use of available resources.
Manage the administration of training records in close collaboration with Crew Services, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Create and maintain training documentation, including forms and qualification records, to support regulatory audits and internal tracking.
Schedule and coordinate the use of training devices for both flight and cabin crew, including simulator slots required for maintenance activities.
Support the planning and coordination of outsourced training programs, including obtaining GACA approvals and securing necessary training slots in accordance with Riyadh Air’s procedures.
Serve as the primary point of contact for outsourced training providers, ensuring alignment and smooth execution of Flight Operations training programs.
Oversee documentation and systems related to training activities, including the qualification and approval processes for trainers (initial, renewal, and revalidation).
Coordinate IT-related projects specific to Flight Operations Training to ensure systems and processes are aligned with technological advancements and industry standards.
Manage the daily operations of the Flight Operations Training Centre, ensuring the facility and equipment are well-maintained, secure, and efficiently utilized.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: Training center administration and training device scheduling experience, with at least 2+ years.
Operational Skills: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Crew Training administration and planning.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Prodefis is preferred.
