Riyadh Air (RX), headquartered in the Saudi Capital, is the new national airline that's shaping the future of flying. It seeks to lead the aviation industry by transforming Saudi Arabia into a global aviation and trade hub – a digitally native airline that will connect the Kingdom to more than 100 destinations.
Are you a highly skilled NDT professional ready to take ownership of aircraft structural integrity at one of aviation's most exciting new airlines?
You will be at the forefront of ensuring the airworthiness of our Boeing 787 fleet and other Riyadh Air aircraft types, applying advanced non-destructive testing techniques that keep our guests and operations safe. In this role, you will plan, perform, and certify NDT inspections in line with GACA regulations, OEM approved data, and our Approved AMP, bringing precision and expertise to every inspection you conduct.
You will design and execute inspection plans using UT, ET, PT, MT, RT and advanced methods such as phased array and thermography, collaborating directly with Structural Repair Engineers on complex assessments and providing rapid NDT support during AOG events and outstation deployments. You will also play a key role in maintaining and calibrating NDT equipment, contributing to audit readiness, and monitoring emerging technologies to continuously elevate our inspection capabilities.
This is a role where your technical mastery will directly uphold safety performance, operational excellence, and the high standards that define the Riyadh Air experience.
Degree qualified in Engineering or holding a Diploma in AME with relevant experience, you will bring a minimum of 8 - 10 years of NDT inspection experience on commercial aircraft, including at least 5 years of hands-on certification experience specifically on Boeing 787 composite structures.
You are expected to hold Level II or III certification in UT, ET, PT, MT, and RT in accordance with NAS-410/EN4179 standards, alongside Boeing 787 type-specific NDT training and certification, which is mandatory for this role. A GACA, FAA, or EASA B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance License in the relevant fleet is also required.
You will bring proven expertise in advanced composite NDT methods and a demonstrated track record of supporting AOG operations under field conditions. Familiarity with GACA, EASA, or FAA Part-145/Part-M requirements is essential, and a background in developing or expanding airline NDT capabilities will make your application stand out.
We'd love to hear from you even more if you have experience mentoring technical teams and a passion for continuous improvement in inspection methods, sustainability, and safety culture.
This is your opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the maintenance excellence of a world-class new airline. Bring your best and show us why you can own this position within Riyadh Air.
