About the Role

Are you seeking an opportunity to play a central role in developing world-class training programs and operational standards?

 

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs and standards for ground operations within our organisation.

 

Your mandate will be to ensure ground operations staff are well-trained, adhere to industry standards, and contribute to the overall safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of ground operations activities. 

 

Key to your success in this role is the oversight of the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of training programs, ensuring scalability, consistency, and high-impact delivery for both in-house and third-party airport operations personnel.

 

Critically, you will collaborate at a senior level with Safety, Compliance, Airport Operations, and Commercial teams to embed training and standards into broader organisational initiatives, such as service excellence and operational resilience.

 

Further, you will govern and drive the effective use of the Learning Management System (LMS) as a central platform for training deployment, compliance tracking, certification management, and performance analysis.

 

Importantly, you will own and manage the performance management process for ground operations, utilizing balanced scorecards with key metrics such as NPS, OTP, mishandled baggage, and ancillary revenue to drive accountability and improvement.

About You

Degree qualified, you will demonstrate a minimum of 8 years in aviation ground operations including at least 5 years of training experience.

 

You will demonstrate a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing training plans in alignment with departmental values, goals, and policies for ground operations personnel across the eco system.

 

Success in this role demands a thorough understanding of aviation regulations with reference to IATA, IOSA & ISAGO standards.
