Are you ready to lead navigation services that strengthen flight planning precision, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making across the network?
This role is central to managing navigation services across flight operations and leading teams of navigation engineers and technical flight dispatchers. It supports efficient route selection, technical assessment, and high-quality operational information for flight crew.
A core part of the role is delivering navigation-related technical and commercial studies that improve operational performance. This includes fuel and payload studies for future destinations and fuel value assessments that support annual budgeting.
Working closely with operational teams, the position oversees technical assessments for destinations and alternates, along with the design and validation of drift down and depressurization escape procedures. It also evaluates performance-based navigation profiles and aerodrome suitability to support safe and efficient operations.
The role ensures charting requirements are met across the network through strong control of customization, availability, and Electronic Flight Bag loads for terminal charts, enroute charts, and airport moving maps. It also maintains accurate flight planning system data and ensures published aeronautical information and aircraft performance data are correctly reflected in operational systems and company documentation.
With responsibility for specialized navigation oversight, this position assesses Required Navigation Performance (RNP) and Required Navigation Performance Authorization Required (RNP AR) procedures for simulator validation and participates in simulator sessions where needed. It also manages Company Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs), airport and area briefs, and other operational information that must be distributed accurately and promptly to flight dispatchers and flight crew.
In addition, the role monitors Reduced Vertical Separation Minima (RVSM) compliance and maintains foreign regulatory approvals required for operations, including low visibility approvals. Regular coordination across stakeholders is essential to keep navigation services reliable, current, and aligned with operational needs.
This is a high-impact leadership role where your technical expertise will shape navigation capability, operational efficiency, and the precision behind every journey.
